Meet our brand new range of greetings cards HONESTY

The Damn Fine design elves have been super busy this month and we're delighted to announce our brand new HONESTY range of birthday and occasion greetings cards.

Why have we called this range HONESTY?

These cards are full of dark humour, fun and, most of all, compassion. Whether you want to tease your aging chum, congratulate that high-achiever or celebrate life's more difficult chapters and battles, we’ve got your back.

We couldn't find the kind of cards that wanted to buy for friends when they are sick or experiencing tough life events. The times where 'dark humour' feels appropriate for some of the people we love. So, we made them.

Some cards in this new range celebrate life's more difficult chapters such as divorce, fighting that most bastardly of diseases - cancer, illness, people leaving for new places and everything that comes under the banner of "Oh mate, I'm so sorry."

Damn Fine Greetings co-founder Emma and I both use humour liberally but gently, kindly and honestly with our family and friends, especially in darker times. And they do with us too.

Humour is an essential element of human bonding. But we know the humour in our cards is not for everyone. And that's ok.

We've called this range HONESTY, because it feels like a very honest view of who we are, and the type of humour that is a part of our daily lives.

The HONESTY range of sweary and not-so-sweary greetings cards from Damn Fine Greetings features the following designs

I've Got Some Cream For That - Get Well Soon.
Freedom Smells Good - Congrats On Your Divorce.
Cancer Picked The Wrong Human To Mess With.
Fucking Nailed It!
It's Shit. I'm Really Sorry.
Happy Birthday Coffin Dodger.
You're An Acquired Taste.
Bye Bye. We'll Be Fucked Without You.
Still Got it.
Dance Like You Don't Have Arthritis.

We'll post something about our design process soon because we've been told that it's interesting.

But in the meantime, here’s a peek behind the scenes: we reference our group of greetings card guinea pigs, made up of friends, colleagues and keen card givers, when we want to check-in with the outside world and make sure they recognise these feelings too.

Turns out we weren’t the only ones looking for an honest way to commiserate loved ones or who have a friend who’s “An Acquired Taste”.

50% of the profits from the Cancer Picked The Wrong Human To Mess With greetings card will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.

We hope you love these cards as much as we do.

As ever, we love to hear from you. If you have any thoughts or questions, please email us info@damnfinegreetings.com
